"We had the good fortune to live in this great condo for six months while we looked for our new home in the Desert. It has a perfect location, far enough off of the main street so it's quiet and close enough to walk to just about everything. It is a small complex with wonderful neighbors and a great pool and spa. The unit is very spacious with two large suites along with kitchen, dining and living areas. The deck was one of our favorite features. It is large with a great view of the mountains and the pool area. A great vacation is one where you leave the car parked and walk to your favorite restaurant or coffee shop and this is it."
"I stayed in this lovely condo for seven months last year. At first I hadn't planned on that length of time, but it was such a beautiful environment and I felt so at home in the place—and charmed by it —that I found myself never wanting to leave. The view is incredible; the mountain that serves as a backdrop for this enchanting neighborhood is magical and I doubt there is a better place to enjoy it than from the living room of the condo. I was writing a book while I was there and I found it the perfect combination of quiet, inspiring and yet so close to the lively vibe on So. Palm Canyon that I could escape my solitude easily and happily at any time. The condo complex is classic mid-century; you must see it at night to appreciate how stunning the pool and common areas are. In short, I felt like I was living at a posh resort and yet was incredibly at home and content in this gorgeous place. It's a gem."

"Joan couldn't be more right about this fabulous home away from home. We enjoyed its perfect location, charming atmosphere and stunning views for two months at the heart of the season...and wished we could have stayed even longer! The comfortable, spacious unit comes stocked with everything needed for a wonderful, easy-going stay...from kitchy mid-century decor to your tiniest day-to-day need. And if anything is missing, just let Joan know. She'll make sure you have it ASAP.
Big kudos and many thanks to you Joan -- your warmth and hospitality are genuinely appreciated. We loved being in 500 West Arenas!"

"Thank you Joan for sharing your home with us! The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything that we needed for our month’s stay. It was just great to enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio in the early morning sun. Afternoon sun on the patio and a good book to read was heaven. The location is superb!
Being only 3 blocks away from the center of downtown meant:
- Attending Villagefest every Thursday evening
- A leisurely walk to the Palm Springs Art Museum
- A short walk back home after a great lunch or supper downtown
- Walking to the Tennis Club for breakfast
- Stopping for a latte after our Gentle Yoga class
- Enjoying people watching
- Leaving a donation at the Indian Spa and Casino
- Did we mention that there is way too much shopping this close
- Renting a bicycle a couple blocks away
- Taking the downtown walking tours from Historical Society
We can’t do justice to all the things to do that are only a few minutes away:
- The Aerial Tram
- Windmill tours
- Annenberg Estate
- Hiking the Indian Canyons
- Hot Air Balloon Rides
- The Living Desert
- El Paseo – way too much shopping
- The College of the Desert
- The McCallum Theatre
Renee and I hope that we can make it back next year. There is so much more to see and do. Our sincere thank you.
